Propose events that the public can enjoy at a distance, from home, in a participatory way.

This is the objective of our direct social events. The event is specially designed, from time to time and according to the needs of the client, to give back to the viewer an engaging experience, able to fascinate him and make him participate until the end of what happens during the live broadcast.

CASE HISTORY: AND THE MOON KNOCKED

The initiative

The idea came to us like this, raising our eyes to the sky, at a time when the lockdown in Lombardy became reality. The population, especially in Bergamo, was worried, apprehensive, tense. We thought: why not bring the moon into the houses?! A moment of sharing at a distance a beauty that goes beyond everything, a moment in which to think only and only of beautiful things, letting oneself be carried away in the observation of the sky. On March 8, 2020 a shining super moon close to the Earth would light up the night sky. We would have watched it live on Facebook with anyone who wanted to connect to the event, with the help of astronomers able to accompany by the hand to the discovery of curiosities, information, stories.

The results

The event has been widely publicized in the previous days, through posts and press releases.
The local press picked up the news, the online newspaper Bergamonews (whose Fb page has over 250 thousand followers) relaunched the live broadcast as soon as the event started.

On the day of the live broadcast, we have increased the curiosity among the Bergamonews, with ad hoc posts on the Observatory's social networks and Yanzi channels.

The result was important: the live broadcast reached almost 36 thousand people.
Over 600 users the average live audience, many interactions and comments received (200 during the live broadcast), about sixty immediate shares of the event.

The live broadcast

The live broadcast was carried out within the astronomical observatory La Torre del Sole in Brembate Sopra (Bg), which participated in the initiative with great enthusiasm. With two cameras and a direction we entered the room that houses the large main telescope. We started the live broadcast (on the Facebook page of La Torre del Sole) listening to an astronomer and watching LIVE the moon, virtually travelling in space, getting lost in fascinating stories.
